Tis the Season

Fresh Beauty

Since purchasing my first home, I have become obsessed with home decor/interior design blogs, magazines and anything else I can get my hands on. I love looking at beautiful photos of others peoples homes while getting ideas and inspiration for decorating my own. One of the constants that I have come  across when it comes to home decor is the use of fresh flowers. It's amazing how flowers can completely brighten up a room, add a much needed splash of color or feminine touch and tie all of the elements of a room together. Below are a few very pretty examples of what I'm talking about. I will definitely be adding fresh floral arrangements to my home decor!

Always Prepared

A while back I was invited to an invent. Of course the invitation came at the last minute, as in the day of the event, and on this particular day I was not dressed for an evening out. It was one of those days where I work up and threw on whatever I could find, in between getting the lil one ready and off to school.

Now here's the thing, I am well aware that the whole notion of not being dressed properly was really just an exec use not go because if I really wanted to attend I would have regardless of my attire! I'm definitely not sitting here trying to fool myself. However, it did get me thinking about adjusting my wardrobe to include more pieces that can translate from day-to night.
